NTRA Contest

2003 Mandatory Races

I've set up a link to information regarding the mandatory races for the 2003 contest. This link is labeled NTRA IV and is shown to the left. Check out this link for past performances and charts for those mandatory races. It is interesting to note that for the 16 races included, 31% of the winners paid 5-1 or more. That is nearly identical to national norms for all races at all racetracks. Other notes regarding these mandatory races are shown at the bottom of the linked page.

Introduction

Hello!

This is my weblog which is dedicated to my entry into the NTRA National Handicapper of the Year contest being held at Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on January 23rd and 24th of 2004. Check out this link for further information about the NTRA contest.

I'll be posting general information about the contest and such and, when the contest starts, will be updating this site with information about how things are going. I also certainly welcome any assistance I can get from my fellow horseplayers. With 30 bets to make over two days and eight race tracks I can use all of the help I can get.
